The congregation and ministers at Pass-A-Grille Beach Community Church, UCC have always been welcoming of all people, including those who identify LGBTQ. 

 

In February 2023 the worshiping community took the final step and voted to become an Open and Affirming church and join the broader ONA movement to make this nation safe and welcoming for all people, regardless of whom they choose to love.

WORSHIP

The Sunday worship service is the key opportunity for the community to gather and receive an inspired, guiding message from the pastor. It is during such moments that we strengthen our individual faith and also the church’s mission. Come and be part of worship, knowing that no matter who you are, or where you are on life’s journey, you are welcome.

The Church Council

Our Church Council is the elected governing body of the church, comprised of 19 lay members and both pastors. Together they empower smaller groups to carry out the ministries of the church either through task forces or committees. The Council’s monthly meetings are open to all members of the church. Adult Mission Retreats

A yearly retreat for adults who seek to improve the lives of people affected by natural disaster, the ills of poverty, and systemic economic injustice. In 2022, a group of 29 church members traveled to Mayfield, KY to help the residents rebuild after an F4 tornado ravaged their town and surrounding areas.

Outreach

An intentional effort to organize opportunities for people to put their faith in action.

Music Ministry

The joy of singing and being part of a choir is a special way of expressing our faith.

Chancel Choir

If you love music and you enjoy singing, we invite you to join the choir of voices that sing at the 10 AM service. You don’t have to be a professional. Amateurs welcome.

Bell Ringers

Our bell ringers joyfully transform the sound of ringing of bells into delightful music.
