The Music Ministry seeks to enable musicians of all types to express their faith through God’s gift of music. We recognize the important role music plays in worship and we try to encourage people of all ages and varying abilities to become involved in our diverse ministry of music.

Chancel Choir is open to all who are interested in singing in a choir and rehearses on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 – 8:30 PM. Chancel Choir typically sings a minimum of three Sundays each month at the 10:00 service.

Chancel Ringers meet on Wednesday evenings from 5:30 – 6:45 PM.  No prior skill or experience is required although it helps if participants have some basic music fundamentals.  Handbell ringing techniques are taught as a part of rehearsals and this group participates in the 10:00 Sunday service approximately once each month.

In addition to providing music for Sunday morning services, the Music Ministry also participates in additional special events/services throughout the year:

Annual concert in February – fundraiser for Women’s Ministry mission projects

Ash Wednesday service

Maundy Thursday service

Easter service with brass

Patriotic service in July

Thanksgiving Concert – free benefit concert for disaster relief

Annual Christmas Concert featuring a guest choir

Christmas Eve services

The Music Ministry is also always supportive of people using their talents in the areas of vocal and instrumental solos/ensembles.  If you are interested in or have any questions regarding the Music Ministry feel free to contact Dale Williams, Organist/Choir Director at
