Searching For Relevance

On behalf of all the staff, I would like to extend a “Merry Christmas” to one and all. It has been a great Advent Season and we have had a lot of fun with the “Redeeming Scrooge” theme. We are grateful to our weekly liturgical dancer, as well as the readers and musicians who made our worship so beautiful and meaningful.
A well-deserved word of “thanks” is also due to all who generously supported the angel tree this year.
Your participation has made possible a joyous Christmas for many children and their families. In addition,
a big “shout out” goes to our Quilting group for making over 100 blankets for new- borns at Johns Hopkins Children Hospital. Likewise, I would acknowledge the commitment of our Youth as they too made blankets to be distributed to the homeless.
If you have not participated in our Annual Christmas Offering, I would encourage you to do so. This offering accomplishes many things, one of which is enabling youth, couples, and families to receive professional counseling when in crisis. Often, especially with youth, the cost becomes a “no-starter” and your gift opens the door to personal assistance and positive solutions.

Finally, many have asked if they can do something for the children and families facing the ongoing tragedy
in Aleppo. IF YOU WISH, we have the channels to accomplish this, just note this is your designated desire when you make your gift. Our church has done much, the past few years, to assist those caught in the cross-fire of this crisis. We can continue to make a difference. Consider making a Christmas Gift Contribution to this cause.
Again, to one and all, for all you do in support of our church and its ministry.
From all of us, to all of you!
